Thorndown Primary School contract the catering to Lunchtime Company to provide school meals for pupils and staff.
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Free School Lunch. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to eat a healthy hot meal with their friends and to enjoy the sociability of having a meal together. There is no need to pre-book a meal, your child just has to tell the class teacher at registration time in the morning.
All meals will be cooked from fresh ingredients every day. The Lunchtime Company work to the Soil Association’s food for Life bronze accreditation which means that all chicken is ‘Freedom Food’, Turkey is free range and organic and beef and lamb are ‘Red Tractor’.
