On Saturday 11th July, Thorndown continued their long tradition of entering a float in the St Ives Carnival. The pupils, staff and parents worked hard to decorate the float to make a stunning visual feast based on famous artists. The float set off from the Market Square in St Ives town centre and parade up Ramsey Road to Hill Rise Park.
Despite stiff competition we were awarded the prize for ‘Best School’ and also Best Overall entry.
